Patient living with Pompe disease, a rare condition. Navigates a long journey from "incurable“, to “treatment available“, and " treatment accessible“. This experience has given him a deep appreciation for the critical role of medical and social welfare support for patients with catastrophic diseases and their caregivers.
15+ years in managing patient self-help organizations, promoting and advocating for medical and social welfare initiatives.
He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Mucopolysaccharidoses and Rare Genetic Diseases Mutual Aid Group and as a Council Member of the Rare Disease Hong Kong, actively contributing to both local and international patient development efforts.
